Silas Deane III has spent his life using his personal and career experiences to develop a real solution to eliminate recidivism by connecting the world's social initiatives, transforming the incentives of the corrections industry, and ultimately eliminating recidivism.

Silas noticed a problem within the corrections industry. Every year, 10.5 million Americans are incarcerated, the highest per-capita rate in the world. Of those incarcerated, 9.6 Million will be released every year. 83% of these individuals will return to incarceration within 9 years unless something is done. Shocked by the lack of progress in reducing recidivism, Silas established The Resource Project with the mission to change how Americans view incarceration. The Resource Project is now used across the country to connect individuals to jobs and resources.
