Cathryn Lokey, Ed.S, is an educational psychologist with a background in instruction and counseling. She works as an independent consultant advising organizations on the implementation of cutting-edge, evidence-based practices with an emphasis on a holistic, global, maximizing approach. With extensive experience in program evaluation, curriculum design, and the problem-solving process, she has conducted trainings and presentations at the local, state, regional, national, and international levels. 

Cathryn was recently invited to speak for the TEDxFSU conference about the vital need for innovative, courageous approaches to mitigating our present social challenges. She is currently conducting research on children’s perceptions of mindfulness and their experiences of its practices. Cathryn enjoys writing, hiking, watching movies, traveling, cooking, gardening, and spending time with her wife and college-age son.
